My name is Daniel MJ Winchester. I believe that everyone is born an Artist. You simply have to find your Medium. I did not set out to be an “Artist”. Sometimes the path we don’t plan for is the one chosen for us.
G’rowing up, I discovered that I was visually oriented and dexterous. When I wasn’t drawing or I taking things apart, I found myself daydreaming. When you’re the only boy of four siblings, an unbounded imagination is always a good companion. Loquacity was not always my forte, so art and fashion were my means of self expression.
I’m often asked what inspires me and what my style is. I am inspired by my experiences which I translate into art. All of my paintings are meant to tell a story, convey a message or simply challenge the imagination. In ancient times, paintings were one of the first forms of none verbal communicating and story telling; and just like a good story, a good painting or artwork can evoke many emotions and even inspire.
